My name is Sebastian and I am from Germany. I'm a small developer who loves playing Pokémon games and shiny hunting since several years. I always encountered the problem of manually counting resets during shiny hunts, which was tedious and error-prone.

So I thought of a solution for this problem and came up with the idea to automatically detect and count resets using text recognition on your phone. You can just place your phone in front of your console and let it automatically count your resets. There is nothing more to it. It's just easy as that. That's how the Auto Shiny Counter app got created.
